The great thing about working for an Internet start-up is the opportunity to wear many hats. Through working with Azalea Online, I was given the chance to restructure the weekly newsletter format as well as implement many of the graphic elements for the many brands they carry.
在小公司工作其中的好處就是它的文化是非常「木人行」化的,工作上擁有很大的發展空間。在 Azalea Online 裡,無論在 Newsletter 或許其他方面也可以有很大的創意空間。
The following is a portfolio website of mine from 2004, when I had just graduated from RIT. The inspiration is from the old TV signals, so each of the sections has a different color tone.
At the time, I wanted to deliver something fresh and bold, as any new graduate would, and this was my first departure from my usual minimalist designs.
以下的個人網頁是在 2004 年我於 RIT 畢業時所做的。靈感是從懷舊的電視訊號而來,每一部份各自有不同的顏色作為代表。
當時我想傳遞一些創新和前衛的訊息,而這個網頁也就是首次遠離了我平常簡約的設計。
This series of posters was designed for a three-night educational event for RIT's Center for Residence Life. Since the event was based on the silence and invisibility of racism, I wanted the advertisements to be simple and formal, yet sharp and interesting enough for passersby to notice.
The messages and the typography of the posters were essential in capturing students´ attention. The event turned out highly successful and won much praise and recognition.
這一系列海報是為 RIT 一連三晚的教育節目而設計。由於該次主題是關於無形的種族岐視,所以海報設比較嚴肅拘謹,與此同時亦須具備趣味性, 鮮明地將訊息表達給每個過路人。
顏色及字體為整張海報的重要原素去捕捉學生的注目。而這次節目的高度成功獲得不少讚賞與獎項認同。
